About Chris Jackson
Chris Jackson is Vice President and General Manager for Austin’s Eastern Operations. In this role, Chris provides oversight of the successful completion of projects from inception, through design, engineering, construction and maintenance. He leads a dynamic team to deliver Austin’s solutions to project owners, helping to develop facility projects in a predictable, effective manner while meeting the owner’s goals and objectives related to budget, schedule, quality, safety and stakeholder satisfaction.
Chris joined Austin in 2015, bringing more than 20 years of experience delivering a multitude of projects, from commercial to government to complex industrial projects. He began his career as a field engineer, working his way through project controls, project management, estimating and construction planning and preconstruction. His diverse background with contractors and projects of all sizes, provides him with unique insights and skills related to estimating, procurement and preconstruction planning.
Chris is a safety-trained supervisor (STS), a LEED® Accredited Professional, and often speaks as a keynote or chair at national conferences on estimating and preconstruction planning.
